New Passport rules due to Brexit

From an EU perspective having ceased to be a Member the UK is now considered as a ‘Third Country’ and thus treated as any other Third Country.

Consequently UK Passports now need to have six months remaining before the expiry date on arrival in the EU and one month remaining after the scheduled departure date.

See the Government website “Check a passport for travel to Europe from 1 January 2021“.
